Challenge #2 ~ EMBOSSING

Thank you to everyone that entered our very first challenge last month, myself & the DT really enjoyed visiting all of your blogs & seeing the amazing talent out there!
Congratulations to our very 1st winner chosen by Random.org
Congratulations Liesbeth S
You win the prize & Winner badge
Please email me with your postal address Lisbeth & I will get your prize in the post & grab your winners badge
The DT members found it very hard to choose just one entry for the DT TOP PIX badge, but we finally managed to reduce it down to just 2 entries.
Congratulations to Eileen & Sue N
Thank you ladies, please grab your DT Top Pix badge
There were 33 eligable entries in last months challenge, but sadly I had to delete 3 because they either didn't meet the requirements of the challenge, link back to us or thier blog settings denied us access.
Please double check for future challenges, because we hate for anyone to loose out!

**********************************************

Our challenges have 3 genres, Cardmaking, Scrapbooking & Digi Scrapping.
You may enter once for each genre, but please link to each entry .... This makes it so much easier for the DT to find your entries.
It would also be of great help us if you would remove word verification on your blog please!
To be eligible to win the prize, you must follow the rules closely [challenge rules tab above]
After adding your entry to the link widget below, please post a comment too, this is just an extra fail safe should the widget stop working for some reason.
The prompt for challenge #2 is
Embossing
This can be Dry Embossing, using a die cut machine or a light box
or Heat Embossing, embossing powder & heat gun.
You can also buy pre embossed cardstock or even improvise by creating your own embossed effect, like a couple of the DT members have done!
The digi scrappers have joined in by using the embossing tool.
Here is this months prize[drawn by random.org]

    1. Kate , have you managed to attach thumbnail before in the same way you are trying ? Or is this something new to you? Then perhaps we can figure out why x

  8. I have just entered too, will take some time later this evening to check out the DT blogs and other entries. The stuff I have seen so far has been fab! If anyone has trouble with the thumbnail it may be that the photo file size is too big.

  13. Hello

    I stumbled across your blog.

Always a pleasure seeing other crafters getting pleasure from what they do.

These cards are more sophisticated than anything I have done.

I sometimes make my own Christmas cards, I make lino cuts and print them on my old hand press.

I do quite a lot of gilding, but I am primarily a bookbinder, some of your cards are like small books with complicated covers.

Do you ever use simple 3 hole sewing to join several pages together? It could be sewn with ribbon.

I run a site devoted to craft bookbinding, there are a lot of free bookbinding manuals which may interest you.

Come on over if you have a moment.

    Good luck to us all.
