she has made this fantastic card for us to showcase. We just love the colours Lyn has chosen for the card, it reminds me of those raspberry ruffles chocolates, that you used to see in the pick n mix sweetie stand.

.... Is brought to you by Zoe, who has been playing with her inks, embossing folders & die cut, to create texture & interest to her wonderful tag.

I love that cute little bird which even has a tiny feather on it's wing.

Stella shows you how to create this lovely card using inking techniques

You will need cardstock, acetate, various rubber stamps & ink for this project

We would love for you to try this technique, it doesn't need to be themed.

DT Inspiration Today...

...Is brought to you from Julia aka Ju, she created this fantastic LO using a photo that she took during a walk along the river bank at dusk of a majestic swan. I love how the last of the day's light has touched the swan's neck & added the hint of colour.

Ju, chose to scrapbook in size A4 [8.5x11] for this project & here is how she put it together. She used a light peice of cardstock for the base, then taking a sheet of printable acetate & spraying it with some black Cosmic Shimmer Mist, she chose some random rubber stamps to remove some of the excess ink while at the same time leaving subtle images. When dry, she stuck the acetate to the cardstock  & added the photograph, to which she had added journaling around the edge. Added some black & white glitter strips to break up the background  to complete the finished page.

Changes & New Monthly Events

There are a few changes to be seen starting this month on the TCT challenge blog. 

The 1st of these changes see's the scrapbookers & digi scrappers merge into one group. Because this is a Trilogy we need 3 categories, so we are introducing an Everything Else group. 

 We took this decision because there were some beautiful tags, calendars & other projects being made & entered that, under the original rules we had to delete because they didn't fall into the previous groups. We all felt so bad having to delete them!

Also new for this month, see's the introduction of a mid month tutorial given by one of the DT this months is being delivered by Stella & will go live on the 15th October.

The next change is that we will now be showcasing DT projects throughout the month for added inspiration & interest. So please remember to keep coming back during the month to see what else has been uploaded.

Just to recap, we now accept Cards, Scrapbook Layouts including digi & Everything Else.

So, if its a paper crafted item & it follows the challenge prompt & rules, then we will accept it ...

Sadly, this month we are saying goodbye to Carol Christie, who is moving on to pastures new. Thank you for supporting us with your wonderful cards Carol & we wish you good luck for the future! 
However, we have taken on 4 new DT members, but you will have to wait until challenge #4 to see thier designs.

~ Tic Tac Toe ~

I have created a grid with 9 prompts, you must choose just 1 of the lines & create your card, scrapbook LO or digi page with the 3 different prompts on your chosen line.
Choose by going up & down, side to side or diagonally in any of the 3 lines.
